Map & calendar
Shows visited countries, travel periods and individual days on a world map and calendar. Add places, airports, travel purpose and transport as needed.
Years & statistics
Compares trips, countries, travel days and approximate straight-line distance across multiple years. Free is limited to the current calendar year.
Expenses & receipts
Records expenses in their original and home currencies, separates business and personal items, and exports to PDF, CSV or Excel, with optional extra copies in iCloud Drive.
Boarding passes & documents
Keeps boarding passes, bookings, invoices and scans in protected app storage. With private iCloud enabled, they sync to your other devices. Shareable passes can be sent from Apple Wallet or imported as .pkpass files.
Identity documents & visas
Reads the MRZ on passports, identity cards and residence permits, and uses separate on-device recognition for card-format driving licences. Document numbers stay in the Keychain of that device.
Personal Travel Film
Animates the route for any date range with optional distance and flags, then exports in 9:16 portrait for social media or 16:9 landscape.
Widgets, lock & sync
Brings your map, country overview, travel countdown and quick expense action to the Home and Lock Screens, adds an optional app lock and offers private iCloud sync in every paid package.
Expenses & travel documents
From an expense to a boarding pass.
Assign expenses to a journey or an individual day, add receipts and other details, then export exactly what you need. Identity documents are kept separately and remain entirely local.
Apple Wallet: If the airline supports sharing, send a boarding pass from Wallet to VoyaMate using Share. You can alternatively import its .pkpass file. VoyaMate stores the copy in its protected app area and lets you record the airline, flight number, airports, boarding time, seat and booking reference.
iCloud & data backup
Keep devices in sync or create a separate backup.
Private iCloud: Expenses, Traveler and Explorer can sync journeys, stays, expenses and stored files between your devices through your private CloudKit database.
Complete data archive: Traveler and Explorer create an archive of your VoyaMate data and stored files when you ask. Local identity documents and their numbers are excluded.
Optional password protection: New data archives can be password-protected. VoyaMate can store the password in iCloud Keychain. With iCloud Keychain enabled, Apple synchronizes it between your trusted devices with end-to-end encryption. You can delete it in the app at any time.
Visible exports: Expenses and Explorer can place additional PDF, CSV or Excel expense exports in the “Export Expenses” folder in iCloud Drive and keep a complete Excel or CSV export up to date automatically.

Photo import from earlier years
Free shows how many earlier journeys it can find in your photos.
Free imports journeys from the current calendar year only. VoyaMate can still inspect the metadata of photos you grant access to locally and show how many trips from how many earlier years would become available with Traveler or Explorer. No images are uploaded, and older journeys are not imported until you choose to do so.
Privacy
You decide where your data is stored.
On-device: Photo analysis, travel detection, statistics, Travel Film and exports are created locally.
No profiling: No advertising and no analytics, tracking or profiling SDKs.
Your choice: The app works locally. Private iCloud sync is optional in Expenses, Traveler and Explorer; Free stays entirely local.
Identity documents: Passports, identity cards, residence permits and driving licences remain on the relevant device and are excluded from data archives.
About Travel Film
Creation and distances in Travel Film.
Your Travel Film is built on your device from the selected date range and its stops. A dedicated 9:16 portrait export is available for stories, reels and other social media posts; VoyaMate can alternatively export in 16:9 landscape. Many stops can increase creation and playback time, temporarily raise CPU use and make the device warmer. Distances are approximate straight-line distances between detected stops; actual flight, road, rail or sea routes may differ.
